On November 13th, 20th, 27th and December 4th & 11th, we’ll be open until 8:30pm, welcoming you to experience The Watering Can in a new evening glow. As the night settles in, our greenhouse transforms into a magical, twinkling space filled with warm light and gentle ambience. Enjoy live music, local winery tastings, and complimentary coffee and sweet samples as you wander, shop, and savour the cosy atmosphere.
Live Music
Every extended-shopping night will feature live musical accompaniment to set the mood for your browse. Local musicians will play a curated mix of acoustic pop, jazz and holiday-inspired tunes — perfect for sipping coffee, wandering through our collections and enjoying the evening glow. Whether you stop for 20 minutes or stay until closing, the music will elevate your experience and keep things relaxed and festive.
Local Wines
We’re delighted to partner with some of our region’s favourite wineries who will be joining select Thursday evenings to offer sample pours while you shop. Taste small-batch gems from nearby vineyards, ask the winemaker questions, explore flavour profiles — all in the comfort of our greenhouse setting. Keep an eye on the page and our socials to see which winery is featured on which date.
Extended Hours + Other Treats!
Enjoy complimentary coffee and sweet sample treats as you browse, a little moment of warmth to carry with you as you stroll through our displays. If you’d like something extra special, our café will also be preparing seasonal sips and freshly baked pastries — the perfect indulgence to enjoy in the moment or to take home and savour later.
Whether you’re pausing for a quiet coffee break, catching up with a friend over something warm, or simply wandering with your hands full of gifts and greenery, this gentle mix of treats and atmosphere makes the evening feel calm, cosy, and unhurried.
